We visted rushour for the first time and we were very impressed with the whole experience. The venue, food and service were excellent. We had a lovely evening, felt very relaxed and well looked after. We also loved the prices too, especially for the quality of food we ate. We will definitely be back with friends in tow!!!

I have been to rushour many times since it opened and the service and food are consistently good. The wine is good and the food is varied, fresh and hot. the quiz nights are particularly enjoyable with a great atmosphere.

the restaurant is friendly, the table service is prompt and efficient. the menu covers a wide range of types of food and is great value for money. all food is cooked to order, so it's not fast food (and they have accomodated our specific dietary requirments on a number of occasions). I highly recommend you visit on a tuesday to get a taster of the quality of the food, as it's th great british menu night and is a good introduction to the restaurant at a value for money set menu price.

Wonderful warm friendly service, fantastic food and more importantly a consistantly great range of menus. We have been 8 times since May and it gets more impressive every visit. Quiz nights are great fun too !

As others have said, there is a nice friendly feel here. It may not be in the trendiest part of town, but if anything that just means they try extra hard to make it a really good dining experience. We ate there last night and had an excellent meal. We had chicken and chorizo salad, and black pudding for our starters. Then a steak and prawn surf and turf and the Moroccan lamb for main course. All the food was tasty, delicious and fresh and cooked in an open kitchen so you can see your food being cooked. Couple of points to note. Although the restaurant is fully licensed, on Saturday night you can bring your own wine and we weren't charged for corkage! Also, you can only pay with cash, no cards. Also this restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Went on a Sunday night. Looking through the window could see only one occupied table. That nearly put us off going but im so glad it didnt. Wonderful service and excellent food cooked in an open plan kitchen. All freshly prepared. To start we had the black pudding, the mushrooms and the garlic bread. All went for the jerk chicken which was wonderful. To finish we had the crumble and the toffee pudding which was divine. The menu is set out in three price bands, also good variety of vegertarian meals.
